Snow Foam
Thick clinging foam concentrate. Goes straight over the Pre-Wash, dwells 3–5 minutes, then carries everything it lifted off the panel in one rinse.

Holds on the panel
Thin foam runs off in seconds and does nothing. This one stays put long enough to encapsulate the grit the Pre-Wash released.
Straight over the top
No rinse in between on the Maintenance Wash. Cover the car, dwell 3–5 minutes, rinse top to bottom.
Down, not across
The grit leaves the panel vertically instead of being dragged across it. Safe on paint, trim and glass.
Thin foam is almost always dilution, not the bottle. Fill to the marked line before adding concentrate — under-filling the water is the usual cause. The Field Guide covers the fix.
